Renaissance Charlotte SouthPark Hotel

Large and comfortable studio. Staff is pleasant and helpful. I do not like the fact you cannot reserve a room at the hotel, but must call or go online to Marriott. I also do not like the hotels in the business area of Charlotte charge more during the week when they have high capacity. Food in restaurant was pricey but good.

Definitely 5 stars in my book. Great hotel, beautiful, love the ambience, rooms and staff. I stayed in the Jr. Suite and it was like home away from home. This hotel made me proud to be a Marriott Rewards member. Definitely will be my go to hotel in Charlotte.

Alex, manager on duty, was extremely rude. My fiance booked our stay. I usually do it for us. We had a problem with our reservation and she did not try to resolve the issue. She made me feel embarrassed because she was extremely loud and other guests could overhear our conversation. I thought I would be treated with respect since we are apart of the Marriott loyalty program and I always book at Marriott locations. I'm debating on switching brands and trying the Hyatt or Hilton. Perhaps, they would value my status or just treat me kind because that's the right thing to do. I would not recommend this property based on the hospitality. There's better hotels in the area that provide world class service. AVOID THIS HOTEL!

Classic interior with new renovations. Helpful staff and nice on-prem bar & restaurant. Great location right near shopping and plentiful food options

I stay here weekly for work. Cozy, comfortable rooms. Sometimes the tub or sink drains needs Drano pretty bad, but maintenance responds quickly. Staff are friendly and professional. Lounge is great, breakfast in the am and hors d'oeuvres in the evening. Wifi is generally pretty quick. Bar/restaurant can get pretty loud in the evening depending on what is going on, but I don't spend much time down there anyway. I'll keep staying here while on this project.
