Billy Graham Library

I loved the history here! From his childhood home to all the amazing accomplishments from his life. One of my all time favorite museums. Everyone here was so friendly and inviting. The gift shop was really nice. Enjoyed every moment here! Can wait to go back soon.

I visited Billy Graham Library this past week. It was such an amazing experience. The volunteers were friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of parking and no waiting in line although there were plenty of people around visiting. As I approached the house where the Grahams once lived, I could hear worship music emanating from the garden and throughout the grounds...such a serene atmosphere. There was a prayer bench/garden that I sat at and prayed (see photo). I was told that the house is 60% of the original house construction the Grahams lived in when he was a young boy from 7-17 years old. Every brick, according to the tour guide, was disassembled, numbered one by one, moved from one location of NC and reassembled/built to sit on this property at the Billy Graham Library. Amazing The barn with the cross is the actual Library and where the cafe is located. Again, everyone was welcoming and inviting. The food at the cafe is good and reasonably priced. .

We have traveled to Charlotte many times but never visited this attraction before. Honestly, we really knew very little about the life and work of Dr. Graham. This certainly changed after our morning here! I know it's labeled as a library but it's more like an interactive, genuine experience. The staff was Amazing. Truly, they made the visit more enjoyable. We would highly recommend even if you are not familiar.

What a cool experience! The production quality of the journey of faith was top notch. Felt like something out of Disney World. Very encouraging experience and fun for the family. The little restaurant is great too. Dont sleep on the coffee, it was better than Starbucks.

The Billy Graham Library and Journey of Faith is a must see. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Since we came on November 30, we were also able to view the live nativity which was very nice.
